EUCHARIST
The celebration of Sunday liturgy is the central activity of Assumption Parish.  (cf. parish calendar for schedule.)
Children are prepared to celebrate their first Communion in second grade.  Preparation for children of the parish includes an initial orientation meeting for children and parents, weekly catechetical sessions in the winter and spring, weekly home activities and rehearsal.  First Communion is ordinarily schedule for the first weekend in May.
