Respect Life

Our Mission is to renew the call for individual Catholics to unite and restore respect for and the legal protection of every human life from conception to natural death. We strive to do this by making our parish the center of life, a place where our parishioners understand the issues and the importance of those who are most vulnerable: the unborn, the elderly, the seriously ill and dying, and the handicapped.

Our ministry has a 4 prong direction.

• We distribute educational material to neighboring Churches in our area in an effort to stimulate Pro-Life thought and activity in the community outside our parish.
• We strive to educate our Parish concerning legislation which may be upcoming that will impact various life issues.
• We encourage as many parishioners as possible to help in our efforts to defend life in and outside our parish community. For example: we participate in the annual Respect Life Flower Sale with all profits going directly to Cincinnati Right to Life; We hold a Baby Shower for slightly used and new baby clothing, toys, diapers etc. to be given to the Pregnancy Care Center in North College Hill, and each year Pregnancy Center West comes to our Parish School to speak to our 6th through 8th graders on age appropriate topics relative to respect life issues.
• We are constantly searching for new ideas to help spread the pro life message and for new volunteers to help us spread that message.

Meetings are held once a month on the First Monday. If a holiday falls on that particular Monday, the meeting is held the following Monday. We meet in the Parish Meeting Room located in the school at 7:00 PM and meetings last only one hour. If you would like to become involved, simply attend our next meeting-no strings attached.
